Hi everyone! My name is Shirley Morovich. I am a third generation Sonoma native. I have always had a passion for what this valley has to offer. I am the granddaughter of an organic farmer and I remember going to visit my grandpa when he sold his produce at the Tuesday night and Friday morning farmers markets. As a young girl, my friends and I would walk around town looking for things to do and when we got hungry we would find a nearby orchard and pick some fruit for a quick lunch to go along with the free breadsticks from Mary's Pizza Shack and the free cheese at Sonoma Cheese Factory. After high school I moved to Oregon and studied dietetics, nutrition and culinary arts at Oregon State University. With all I learned, I knew moving back home and sharing my passion for food and wine with the people and valley where it all started is what I wanted to do. I create my menus using what's in season and looking best at the markets. I love to cook and create food and memories for people who love to eat! It's just that simple! That is what brings me joy.
